The 2830 anti-panic rope grab ensures that a fall is still arrested in the event that a user mistakenly grips the rope grab during a fall. Made of durable steel alloy, this rope grab has an internal eye diameter of 50 mm (1.968 in), meeting ANSI Z359.1. The integrated safety features allow this rope grab to trail with you as you move and lock in the event of a fall, with a design that prevents installation when oriented in the wrong direction. If a user grabs the anchorage eye during a fall, the rope grab will still safely arrest the fall by impacting onto another internal surface. The overall performance of the rope grab depends upon the quality of the rope used; ropes with lower tensile strength may cause the rope grab to function improperly.
Designed specifically for industrial use, this rope grab can be adapted to a wide range of fall-arrest systems. It is not approved for use in any non-occupational applications.
To clean, wipe with warm water and mild soap, then rinse with a damp cloth and leave to air dry. Avoid submerging or soaking in water or solution. Do NOT machine wash or dry. Do NOT use aggressive cleaning solutions such as bleach or acetone. Using methods or products others than those recommended above may compromise the quality of the materials, resulting in performance below advertised standards.
