This latch guard is constructed from extruded aluminum and comes in a gold anodized finish. It helps protect your door from forced entry by covering the gap over the latch assembly and resisting pry bars and other forms of tampering. This type of guard can be used on both in swing and out swing doors and requires some mortising in the door jamb for proper installation.
